Further Government guidance this week to General Practice is that we must continue to operate our total triage system which involves remote clinical assessment to determine which patients need to be seen face-to-face. It remains the case that the surgery will continue our current system of sample collection, prescription collection and the zoning of the surgery to best protect our staff and those patients who are assessed as needing a face to face appointment. We have now set up a system of indoor queueing to be operated by our door runners during bad weather. As this indoor system involves a limited number of people entering the building and queueing in the waiting room, you would need to have a face covering – please bring your own if you have one.
Although the number of infections is falling, the virus remains active in the community and we will continue these measures to minimise the risk of a further significant outbreak.

- a new, continuous cough
- or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
Request the test as soon as you have any of these symptoms even if you think the problem is unrelated to the Coronavirus.
